[ADV] My First Visit to Nexus Clinic
Hello loves! Today I’m going to talk about my first visit to Nexus Clinic which is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur in Wisma UOA II, Jalan Pinang. Nexus Clinic is Kuala Lumpur’s No.1 Premier Aesthetic Clinic and offers services such as lasers, skincare, fillers, weight loss treatment and many more.
So after the first consultation, I decided to undergo MedLite C6 Laser Treatment in Nexus Clinic as I have an obvious uneven skin tone, skin pigmentation and also ridiculously huge pores! One of the main problems I always have due to my large pores is that whenever I apply on makeup on my face, my makeup looks tad bulgy and not uniform. The pores are visible despite the numerous layers of foundation and concealer I applied. My doctor-in-charge for the treatment told me that not only does MedLite C6 Laser Treatment could fix uneven skin tone but also rejuvenates the skin; hence resulting one’s face to be fairer and brighter after undergoing the treatment.
This is how terrible my skin condition is under florescent light. My pores are very visible and so are my pigmentation problems. There are also a tad amount of blackheads on my nose. Not to mention, how disturbing are my terrifying eyebags and uneven skin tone T____T
At first, when I heard of the term ‘laser’, I got a bit scared because I don’t know what if it has any side effects and such. My skin tone looks dark reddish here and just the sight of my skin problems is really scary. I mean I have tried lots of ways including purchasing essences, changing cleansers, go for tonnes of facial wash and yet the problem doesn’t diminish. And even if we can use makeup to cover up but it’s just gonna be a temporary, flawless-looking skin and once you remove your makeup, BAM!! Nightmare.
So, after getting the doctor’s approval and etc, I waited in the Aesthetic Premier Room *giggles* while Joan Goh, Online Marketing Executive of Nexus Clinic helped me to apply some Numbing Cream on my face to temporarily numb my epidermis layer so during the laser treatment it doesn’t hurt that much. Joan was really kind enough to assist me throughout the entire laser process and the staff in Nexus Clinic are quite friendly as well including the doctors themselves! Thumbs up for services! 😀
Me face in Numbing Cream! *numbnumbnumbnumb* At first, you wouldn’t feel anything after applying the cream but within 10-15 minutes itself there was quite a numbness in my face AHAHA. So while the numbness is still there, I was quickly assisted to the Laser Treatment Room.
That is dear doctor and me along with the laser! *bzzzzzzt* Okay lah I swear I was frightened to death at first, my heart was pumping so fast! Fortunately, doctor and Joan were by my side and told me it wouldn’t be of much pain and it’s just a 15-mins speedy treatment. Succumbing in, my heart relaxed a little and without realizing, my doctor-in-charge already started off the treatment.
It doesn’t hurt as much as I thought, really! It hurts a little when the laser was aimed at my U-zone area especially my lip area because I have sensitive skin condition at my lip area. The rest, my T-zone, felt like ant bite while laser-ing. Thank you, doctor!!
This picture is taken fresh directly after I ended my MedLite C6 Laser Treatment. The room lighting isn’t that bright so the picture doesn’t clearly show my face condition. But in case if you’d like to know, there was several red spots seen on my face especially my lip area due to the sensitivity. My doctor told me that it is something normal because I just only finish the laser treatment and it is normal for every skin to react in such way. The redness goes away within half an hour time in my case.
This is also to clear some of your doubts. NO obvious result is seen immediately on the spot. This is because once laser-ed, the epidermis layer of the skin is ‘re-functioning’ and is undergoing healing process and it takes time so it’s not possible to see any ‘obvious flawless’ result. Joan from Nexus Clinic also explained that visible results will only be seen depending on one’s skin condition. Some may take several days for results to be seen whereas some might take up to weeks! But in my case…
This picture was taken exactly SEVEN days after I undergo Nexus Clinics Medlite C6 Laser Treatment! I swear, no photoshop, no primer, no foundation, no concealer, no nothing, just me and my bare face with a little of sunlight and that’s it. I followed the doctor’s advice and applied sunblock three hours interval every day and TADAA!!~~ My pores are not so visible as it was before. Although my pigmentation is still there but it became lighter compared to before. And what I love most is that there was an improvement on my skin tone!
I can’t wait to go back to Nexus Clinic for my second treatment and the progress so far is deliciously good! I hope for my second treatment, there are more obvious results to be seen so I can share with you guys. Stay tuned, alrighty? 😀

My Second Visit to Nexus Clinic
Hello all~! Remember when I blogged about my first time ever doing a laser treatment at Nexus Clinic? There’s actually a total of three sessions I have to undergo and today I’ll be blogging about my second session 🙂
You’ll probably shudder upon hearing the term ‘laser’, I did at first too. Just to recap; I decided to get myself a Medlite C6 Laser Treatment at Nexus Clinic and my first experience with them is just brilliant. And I am really glad my second session aftereffect turn out great as well 😀
Above is a close-up shot of my face before I first started Nexus Clinic Medlite C6 Laser Treatment. Frankly, my skin was a mixture of everything – uneven skin tone, huge pores, blackheads, pigmentation and also sensitive skin. I challenged myself and decided to see how good is the Medlite C6 Laser Treatment and incredibly, my skin shows subtle visible signs in one week.
Anyhow, to achieve better and solid results, a one-time treatment is merely possible. So I got back to the clinic for my second treatment! This time I was in a real hurry, so I skipped the choice to apply numbing cream. What I really like about Nexus Clinic is that once you arrive at your booking time, you can straight head into the treatment room after getting your doctor’s permission and start on it immediately. So on the day itself, I had my sunscreen on so I was advised by the doctor to get a facial wash by one of the beauticians there to remove any layer of skincare/makeup on skin. I remained my eye makeup.
Thank you Kak 😀 Without further ado, dear doctor started off my Medlite C6 Laser Treatment after I got my face cleansed. I got a bit scared at first, my heart was pounding so fast at the thought of I’m doing a laser treatment right now with no numbing cream at all. I swear my skin was tensed before the session started AHAHAHA.
So this is me and doctor and the laser. Haha! This time it stings much more compared to my first session because of the absence of the numbing cream on face. It doesn’t really hurt much when the laser was aimed at my cheeks, forehead and etc but since I have this super sensitive and thin layer of skin on my lip area, it sort of poke a little. But overall the pain is bearable for me and the fact that the doctor did the treatment attentively.
TADAA~ Me immediately after I ended my MedLite C6 Laser Treatment in Nexus Clinic. The room lighting is a bit dark so can’t really see much of the immediate aftereffects. Got a bit redness here and there and I had a layer of sunscreen as a protection after that. And because I have visible pigmentations previously too, my doctor-in-charge gave me this pigmentation cream as my night medication to combat it.
According to my doctor’s advice, this pigmentation cream should only be applied at night. If one applies this cream in the morning, redness will be seen on skin so it’s best to just apply before going to bed 🙂
And so, are you curious to see the results after one week of the treatment? Honestly speaking, since the first treatment itself, after seeing such visible effects, I can definitely say that week 2 will be even better.
Me and my BRAND NEW skin, yippee!!!! I’m really really glad that I chose to undergo Nexus Clinic MedLite C6 Laser Treatment. I started off with worries and ended up with satisfaction. Well, it isn’t really an end to my treatment la because I have another one last session AHAHAHA. But I took this laser treatment is because I want to solve my main problem; uneven skin tone. Not only my skin became much more even but my natural flush is also becoming visible. Even people around me can see improvements on my skin. My pores around my nose and under eye area which was once so huge also shrink bit by bit as well. And oh, let me clarify. The only makeup I have on is a light brown eyeshadow, mascara, eyebrow pencil and a lip balm. That’s it.
